AREA 5 Consists of 18 Chapters in Leeds Castle Grove (7), Leeds Allerton (3), Wakefield (3), Pontefract (1), Castleford (1), Morley (1), Batley (1) and Pudsey (1).

All of the Chapters meet in dedicated masonic halls at Castle Grove, Headingley, The Allerton, Moortown, Thornfield House, Morley, Blenheim House, Batley, Zetland Street, Wakefield and also halls at Pontefract, Castleford, and Pudsey.

The oldest Chapter, Fidelity 289, dates back to 1793, and the newest, Universities Chapter Yorkshire 4047, was consecrated in 2015. Most of the remaining Chapters are in excess of 100 years old.
The Chapters are covered by 17 Chapter Liaison Officers, and there are 2 Area Mentors.
The Leeds and District Royal Arch Council is the oldest in the Province and celebrates its centenary in June 2022. Some of the Chapters in the Area are also members of Calder Vale Royal Arch Council.
