Responsible for Royal Arch Area 2: Graham S Franklin 3rd Provincial Grand Principal

Area 2 consists of 12 Chapters located in Halifax (3), Hipperholme (1), Brighouse (1), Huddersfield (2), Kirkburton (1), Uppermill (1), Eastwood (1), Holmfirth (1) and Meltham (1).

Many of the Chapters in Area 2 are well over 100 years old, including three over 200 years in age. 
Area 2 is home to the oldest Chapter in the Province, The Chapter of Sincerity No.61, consecrated in 1765.
The youngest is Lightcliffe Chapter No 3332, formed in 1982. 

Each Chapter is a member of the Halifax, Huddersfield Royal Arch Council, which meets regularly and encourages inter-chapter visiting, disseminating information from Provincial level, and organising an Annual Joint Meeting of the Chapters. 

The Chapters are each served by a Liaison Officer working with the Area Ruler.
Royal Arch Representatives are placed in each Lodge within the area to encourage membership of the Royal Arch once the Craft member is qualified and he feels ready to take the next step.
